Sumit Dharwadkar has been researching in classical astrology (jyotish) since 1991. Having interests in our ancient epics - mahabharata, ramayana, adwait vedanta, yoga vashishtha since childhood, he developed interest in astrology when he read about various stars and rashis mentioned in these mythological texts. He bought his first book written by the great astrology seer Dr. B. V. Raman and then followed few years of rigorous self study.
To understand whether his self study was on the correct path, he enrolled himself for classical astrology classes by the great and well-known astrologer - Shri Va. Da. Bhat in 2003-04 for Jyotish Visharad. Having passed visharad exam with first class, he followed it up with Jyotish Pandit in 2004-05 and passed that too with first class.
One of the best moments in this journey came when during the pandit degree ceremony, one of the teachers called out his name and mentioned that Mr. Dharwadkar’s paper had the best answers for the questions in predictive astrology paper. That was when he understood that he was on the right path in classical (vedic) astrology and his passion was truly kindled.
While prediction is one of the areas in astrology, he was more interested in understanding an individual – more so like a SWOT analysis of the individual which
would enable him/her become more self aware about themselves. He strongly believed that knowing oneself better is the first and most important step towards success in professional and personal journey. Subsequently he directed his research and studies in this domain and has developed his own unique approach and methodology in this over the years.
Based on the horoscope of the native, he prepares a personality profile of the native and gives elaborate advice / guidance on various strengths and improvements on personality, career, relationship and health aspects of the native. With this research and knowledge, he has guided many friends and relatives over the years in helping them understand their personality profile along with career, relationship or health as per their needs.
